Also I have heel/foot pain mainly in my left foot(right foot too, but less) for 5 years already, MRI of ankle/feet showed nothing wrong, the podiatrist said he's sorry but he can't help me and my foot looks healthy.ĭo you have any recommendations of stretches / strengthening I can do to eliminate my hip problem? because its slowing my progress on my knees. on my right hip I have another problem which is front hip pain after walking for more than 1 hour. on both of them I have uncomfortable popping when extending leg(snapping hip syndrome). This problem happens in both my hips, but my right hip is a little better and not as annoying. but even then, I cant "keep it" for too long, and I still feel my hip being too stretched and painful/uncomfortable in the "peak positions" of those exercises I know that I have to flex my glutes really hard during these exercises, and it does help. I once tried push through the pain during Bulgarian split squat, and had front hip pain for a few days until it calmed down. same thing with Bulgarian split squats, I cant do the exercise normally because my hip feels uncomfortable and too stretched when I go down( the hip of the leg that lies on the bench). The main during the exercises is my hip - when I do lunges, I feel the front of my hip(of the back leg) being stretched too much, to the point where its uncomfortable. I'm a desk jockey and I sit every day for 12 +- hours. I started doing few exercises that I learned from Kneesovertoes to target my knee pain that I have been dealing with for few months.
